About us

Marie Stopes International (MSI) is a leader in reproductive, sexual health and family planning services. We are a results oriented social business and are well known for our innovative and entrepreneurial spirit.

Since 2010, the USAID Long Term Methods (LTM) Program has been empowering Ugandan women and men to choose when they have children by voluntarily selecting a family planning method of their choice.

The LTM Program expands affordable services and choice of the full range of contraceptive choice to rural and underserved communities through a dynamic mix of mobile clinical outreach and social franchising. In partnership with the Ministry of Health, the LTM Program supports the long term capacity of public and private sector providers to deliver high quality family planning counselling and services.

It’s a high profile programme with an annual budget of c.$12m, and c.180 staff. The programme provides long term services to well over 1m Ugandan’s every year, and impacts the lives of many more. To find our more take a look at our website mariestopes.or.ug
