Position Title:Aftersales Manager

Motorcare Uganda Limited is a subsidiary of Kjaer Group and is the offi cial distributor of Nissan and BMW Vehicles in Uganda. Motorcare is seeking an Aftersales Manager.

As Aftersales Manager you will report directly to the Managing Director.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·             Draw and manage budget and strategic plan for the Aftersales department to ensure Aftersales profitability.

·             Oversee entire Aftersales business operation, Service management, Parts operation and Customer satisfaction.

·             Lead and motivate Aftersales employees to effectively operate the department at maximum efficiency and productivity, whilst ensuring that the department’s business targets are achieved.

·             Drive and promote Nissan Dealer Operating Standards.

·             Ensure workshop effi ciency, availability of adequate shop capacity and general maintenance.

·             Keep updated with all service publications and ensure that all employees are kept informed about publications and are aware of product changes and service methods.

·             Ensure adequate inventory management as per budget requirements.

·             Oversee adherence to proper service shop and parts warehouse procedures.

·             Keep updated and comply with HSE policies and procedures and keeping a high profile on all HSE matters.

·             Ensure continuous skills development of Aftersales Personnel.

·             Personnel planning to meet future requirements and objectives.

Education and Skills Required:

·             The successful candidate must possess a University Degree.

·             Desirable to have completed a mechanical /electrical course at a technical school, or have acquired equivalent experience and qualifi cation. Includes business experience in automotive trade.

·          Must possess negotiating, organizing skills and great appreciation of his duties.

·          In addition must have outstanding problem solving skills, proven track record with regards to achieving results, excellent communication & interpersonal skills, People management & team leadership.

·         Ability to work under minimum supervision and under pressure.

·         High degree of integrity and flexibility.
