Firm that provides Financial Consultancy Services including Assurance and

Business Advisory Services, Business Planning, Feasibility studies &

Project Proposal Preparation, Human Resource, Risk Management and Information

System Solutions. They would like to recruit for their client,  a manufacturing company.


Job Summary:  The Sales and Marketing Officer will be tasked

to accomplish Business development activities by researching and developing

marketing opportunities and plans, implementing sales plans and managing sales

department.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:  


·        
Accomplishes

Marketing and Sales objectives of the sales department;


·        
Closely

Monitor progress and expedite responses to inquiries and monitor inquiry conversion

rates;


·        
Maintain

close liaison with sales team members in order to work as a team and achieve

targets.


·        
Identify

marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements, defining the

market, evaluate and monitor competitors’ share, document competitors’

strengths and weaknesses and establish targeted market share.


·        
Maintain

Constant touch and rapport with Company clients by paying periodic visits and

understand/anticipate their needs clearly.


·        
Enhance

sales figures, while analyzing conformation to budgetary requirements.


·        
Improve

product marketability and profitability by researching, Identifying and

capitalizing on market opportunities; provide input for product packaging

improvement and product development.


·        
Actively

promoting/arranging promotional events such as trade fairs, attended by key

clients intended to enhance the company’s reputation and secure future business

and interest in the company.


·        
Initiate

changes and update content of the website to meet expected standards.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  


·        
The ideal

candidate should preferably hold a Bachelors in Business Management, Marketing,

Bachelors of Business Administration (marketing) or equivalent with

demonstrated ability in sales and marketing techniques.


·        
Chartered

Institute of Marketing (CIM) Qualification will be an added advantage


·        
Prior

experience with sale of building materials would be an added advantage.


·        
A minimum

of four years’ experience in sales and marketing


·        
Basic

Knowledge of Product Distribution.


·        
Possess

the ability to communicate orally and in written form with customers and

company management.


·        
Proven

ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues.
