services business of Uganda Finance Trust Limited (MDI). Finance Trust Bank is

a fully-fledged commercial bank serving a clientele of over 300,000 depositors

and over 27,000’ borrowers, through a network of 36 branches countrywide. The

bank offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current

accounts, Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target

market which comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners

and youth.


Job Summary: The Learning

and Growth Supervisor will support Finance Trust Bank in the implementation of the

training calendar and budget to ensure the learning and growth of staff in line

with the training policy.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:  


·        
Manage the development of the Training Calendar/

plan and budget for the Bank.


·        
Implement the training calendar and coordinate all

training programs in line with the training policy and best practice.


·        
The incumbent will also design training curriculum

for all positions.


·        
Determine the training gaps and develop

developmental programs to close these gaps.


·        
Routinely draft/review training guidelines/policies

as and when necessary.


·        
Design and manage the effective implementation of

induction programs.


·        
Develop/Review/Implement the coaching and mentoring

program for succession planning.


·        
The Learning and Growth Supervisor will also

supervise the effective implementation of online learning and the staff

intranet platform.


·        
Maintain the employee handbook.


·        
Prepare and distribute the quarterly departmental

update.


·        
Support all employee relationship programs for the

bank.


·        
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Human

Resource Manager.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  


·        
The Learning and Growth Supervisor should preferably

hold a bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from reputable

university.


·        
Possession of a Postgraduate diploma in Human

Resource or Education will be an added advantage.


·        
At least three years’ experience in a similar

position in a busy institution.


·        
Good presentation skills.


·        
Good report writing skills.


·        
Excellent planning and organizational skills.


·        
Ability to multi-task.


·        
High level of tolerance for stress.


·        
Pleasant personality.


·        
Positive attitude


·        
Highly degree of flexibility.


·        
High self-drive.


·        
Ability to work well in a team.


·
