Store (JMS) is a Church founded private not-for-profit organization whose

mission is to supply medicines, medical equipment and related healthcare

services, and training of assured quality to the people of Uganda at affordable

prices. It was established in 1979 as a joint venture between the Uganda

Catholic Medical Bureau (UCMB) and the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB).

Job Summary: The Stock

Control Officer will support JMS in the development and implementation

of tools that aid in monitoring, analyzing and reporting inventory accuracy.

She / she will analyze inventory sales trends in relation to inventory level as

per company inventory holding policies.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·        
The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in

Commerce, Stores and Logistics Management, Business Administration or any other

relevant field.

·        
Possession of Professional qualification in ACCA,

CPA, CIPS is mandatory

·        
A minimum of five years’ experience in accounting;

and three years in accounting and inventory management in a busy warehouse or

supply chain environment.

·        
Prior experience in inventory management and,

exposure to Audit work experience is an added advantage.

·        
Computer literacy i.e. experience in using

computerized financial accounting packages and, or Enterprise Resource Planning

(ERP) applications.
