Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Store Manager

is the day-to-day operation and management of the company’s stores. The Store

Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the company’s store. The incumbent

manages, administers and oversees all store functions. He /she will also be

responsible for the overall performance of the store.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develops

    strategies and plans to improve customer service, drive store sales, and

    increase profitability.

  • Ensures

    a consistent, quality store experience for customers: customer needs are

    met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.

  • Maximizes

    inventory, cash control and loss prevention techniques.

  • Ensures

    appropriate store appearance and presentation.

  • Creates

    and executes company action plans to eliminate waste and loss.

  • The

    incumbent will ensure adequate controls of store expenses

  • Builds

    and develops staff.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The

    applicant should preferably hold a Degree in Business Administration,

    Commerce.

  • Possession

    of part or full professional qualifications ACCA, CPA etc.

  • At

    least five years’ experience.

  • Customer

    service knowledge

  • Knowledge

    of Accounts payable and accounts receivables

  • Office

    administration skills and ability

  • Store

    and motel management and administration

  • Excellent

    customer service skills

  • Excellent

    interpersonal skills

  • Excellent

    analytical and problem solving skills

  • Good

    decision making skills

  • Effective

    communications skills

  • Computer

    skills including the computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word

    processing programs at a highly proficient level

  • Be

    honest and trustworthy, respectful.

  • Possess

    cultural awareness and sensitivity is flexible

  • Demonstrate

    sound work ethics.
