Key Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
Ensure safety of passengers and luggage at all

times.


·        
Ensure that all vehicles have log sheets and pens.


·        
The Driver will maintain vehicles allocated in sound

mechanical condition


·        
Observe speed limits, traffic laws and all organization

travel guidelines


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The candidates for the USAID Program Driver Jobs

must hold an O level Certificate


·        
A minimum of five years’ driving and mechanical

experience with Class A, B, C, and E Driver’s License.


·        
Possession of additional courses in motor vehicle

mechanics and defensive driving is an added advantage.


·        
Good knowledge and understanding of the Geographical

area of assignment.


·        
Extremely flexible, and have the ability to work

under pressure to meet tight deadlines


·        
High degree of Integrity


·        
Excellent communication and listening skills


·        
Personal hygiene


·        
Good track record and traffic police clearance.


·        
Desire to work effectively in a team oriented

environment.


·        
Prior experience with a USAID-funded program is

desired


·        
Ability to travel within and outside Mbarara

-Uganda.
