Uganda Post

Limited (Posta Uganda) is a wholly-owned government company which is the

leading provider of a wide range of postal, logistical, IT and financial

services in Uganda with international links to all major postal administrations

worldwide.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        
Support the Driver in loading and offloading mail

on/off the bus

·        
The incumbent will assist Post Bus passengers to

embark and disembark

·        
Carry out ticket checks before departure to ensure

that all passengers have paid the fare

·        
Support the driver to assess if the vehicle is in

good mechanical condition

·        
Support the driver in carrying out minor repairs on

the motor vehicle

·        
Survey and guide driver on existence of passengers

·        
Issue tickets for all passengers and collect the

company’s revenues

·        
Account for all ticket revenues collected

·        
Ensure secure and intact mail delivery

Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 

·        
The Post Bus Conductors should at least hold Ordinary

Diplomas in a Business field, preferably Accounting

·        
Possession of a driving license or additional

qualifications such as Mechanical Engineering or Accounting will be an added

advantage

·        
At least two years of relevant working experience

·        
Ability to check minor defects on the vehicle/ Bus

·        
Excellent customer care skills

·        
Ability to speak and write English
