enterprises in rural and urban areas of Uganda through well designed customer

tailored products in order to facilitate economic growth and development.

Job Summary: The Senior

Credit Officer will support Uganda Microcredit Foundation Limited by maintaining

high quality loan assessments, loan approvals, loan disbursements and

delinquency management processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        
Ensure portfolio growth by identifying potential

clients for UMF through intensive marketing and ensure timely loan

disbursements.

·        
Maintain high quality loan assessment, loan

approval, loan disbursement and delinquency management processes. 

·        
Actively monitor all loan repayments and ensure all

clients make repayments on time.

·        
The incumbent will monitor the loan portfolio,

maintain excellent portfolio quality, market the loan products, validate loan

accounts, and develop strategies for reaching the branch loan targets.

·        
Responsible for UMF Products, do thorough inspection

of potential clients’ businesses and households, appraise client’s businesses

and repayment capabilities, prepare and complete all necessary loan documents.

Ensure that you deliver an outstanding customer

service that is client focused and efficient at all times.

Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 

·        
The applicant should preferably hold a good

university degree in any business related course.

·        
At least two to three years’ experience in a busy

financial institution.

·        
Ability to market to potential clients.

·        
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        
Good team player

·        
Highly result oriented.

·        
High Integrity, innovative, creative and self-driven.
