Job Description

Position Title : Field Sales Executive (3)
Location : Kampala
Reports to : Showroom Manager
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (KEY DELIVERABLES)

• Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
• Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
• Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
• Gathering market and customer information;
• Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
• Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy;
• Recording sales and order information in the books and sending copies to the Showroom Manager, or entering figures into a computer system;
• Reviewing sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
• Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

• Diploma or degree in marketing or related discipline with at least 1-2 years marketing experience, preferably in automobiles.
