They would like to recruit for a valuable client, a Forestry company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        
Soil science mechanics: Study soil

science analytics, nutrient compositions to determine the right clones for the

respective soil samples,

·        
Forest management: Demonstrates

exceptional forest management skills and techniques so as to advise staff,

customers and other stakeholders respectively,

·        
Planning: Determine current and future needs for all

nurseries so as to meet market demands without any lapses in supply,

·        
Performance Management: Rallies

client’s growth strategy with the requisite skill sets. Where this is lacking,

trains, coaches and mentors staff to meet organizational requirements.

·        
Selling: Crafts winning

strategies to steep targets, breaks them into simple actionable plans that are

easily communicated and implemented by all nurseries.

Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 

·        
The applicant should preferably hold an Msc Forestry

and Bsc Forestry

·        
At least eight years’ experience with 5 of them

managing at a senior level       

·        
Ability to communicate vision and strategic purpose.

Easily understands the bigger organizational picture and helps all staff to

understand how they each contribute to the bigger picture.

·        
Customer centricism. Understands the relevance of

customers to business development and gets the team to put customer needs

before their own.

·        
Communicates compelling goals to the team and

creates synergies within teams. Over comes temporary obstacles to deliver

results.

·        
Passionate about forestry as a career and not just a

job

·        
Flexible to work longer hours, people with varied

educational levels, and travel frequently – in some cases using public

transport.

·        
Fluent in English and at least 2 other local

languages
