Mildmay is a

pioneering HIV charity delivering quality care and treatment, prevention work,

rehabilitation, training and education, and health strengthening in the UK and

East Africa. Mildmay Uganda is a faith- based local Non-Governmental

Organisation (NGO) offering Comprehensive HIV Care & treatment, Training,

Research & General Medical Services; also providing Health Systems

Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of

Central Uganda.


Job Summary: The Nursing Officer

will primarily be responsible for delivering professional, high quality and

efficient nursing care services for HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment (PCT)

including palliative/rehabilitation services and provision of SRH services in

order to improve health outcomes of children, adults and their families.


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Diploma

in Nursing/Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license. Possession of a bachelor’s

Degree in Nursing is an added advantage.


·        
A minimum of two years’ experience in Nursing with

specific knowledge and experience in HIV/AIDS care and management.


·        
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


·        
Computer literacy i.e. Proficiency in various MS

Office packages


·        
Working knowledge of English and local languages


·        
The applicant must also be highly flexible
