Sasakawa Africa

Association (SAA/SG2000) is an international non-profit organization that

promotes demonstration and widespread adoption of improved pre and

post-production agricultural technologies for smallholder farmers in Uganda in

collaboration with relevant government institutions, farmers’ organizations and

the private sector.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
Actively contribute to the design and preparation of

training packages (leaflets, handouts, etc.) for use with the Organizations

MELS team in the country e.g., survey enumerators and data entry technicians;


·        
Work closely and coordinate MELS operations and

implement data collection , analysis, report writing with the MELS team;


·        
Arrange and conduct surveys, annual internal evaluations

and impact assessment;


·        
The incumbent will facilitate and manage external

evaluations and other consultancies with assurance of quality;


·        
Support the learning of SG 2000 main achievements,

lessons and practices and sharing through appropriate communication channels;


·        
Perform any other related duties as assigned by

supervisors.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:


·        
The applicant should preferably hold a bachelor’s

degree in Economics, Statistics and Agricultural Economics or in any other

related field.


·        
Technical knowledge to arrange and conduct surveys,

annual internal evaluations and impact assessment.
