is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, or plant churches. Lifewater

International is called to bring water, health, and hope to the world’s most

vulnerable people using our community-focused approach.


Job Summary: The Water &

Sanitation Technician will ensure that all the WASH program technical

installations meet technical standards.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
Guides the Regional Program Manager on WASH

technical infrastructure solutions, standards and procedures.


·        
The job holder also guides the RPM on technical

capacities/performance of service providers.


·        
Verifies quality on WASH hardware constructed.


·        
Actively contributes to ongoing LI learning.


·        
Uses LI’s real-time digital monitoring equipment to

report progress at sites.


·        
Ensures the maintenance of all WASH equipment.


·        
Updates and maintains records on technical service

providers.


·        
Attends district WASH Sector forums.


·        
The Water & Sanitation Technician is a member of

the Program Procurement Committee.


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a BSc or

equivalent training in Hydrology, Water/Civil Engineering, Pump mechanics.


·        
At least five years’ experience of WASH technical

work.


·        
Excellent technical problem solving skills.


·        
Significant experience with government technical

teams.


·        
Must be a committed Christian, able to work in

denominational diversities
