Entry Level Sales Administrator Careers - DFCU Bank

DFCU

bank is a fast growing commercial bank offering a variety of innovative

products and services. DFCU Limited was started by the Commonwealth Development

Corporation (CDC) of the United Kingdom and the Government of Uganda through

the Uganda Development Corporation (UDC) under the name of Development Finance

Company of Uganda Limited. Later restructuring brought in DEG (of Germany) and

International Finance Corporation (IFC) as equal partners with CDC and UDC,

each having a 25% stake in the company. Its objective was to support long-term

development projects whose financing needs and risk did not appeal to the then

existing financial commercial lending institutions.


Job Summary:  The Sales

Administrator will support the DFCU Consumer Banking department in delivering

business objectives with focus on monitoring, compiling, analysing and

providing progressive performance figures.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Creation of sales performance decks for

    channels, products, segments and individual sellers

  • Pro-actively provide management information

    and analysis for channels, products, segments, and individual sellers.

    This should be done daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.

  • In charge of the provision of in-depth

    analysis and trends to provide meaningful management information and

    underlying reasons that can be used in root cause analysis and problem

    identification:

    • Score card input and performance

      appraisals

    • Root cause analysis and decision making

    • Reports and presentations

  • Develop and maintain scorecards at

    individual, branch and function level.

  • Responsible for the compilation and

    monitoring of the Direct Sales Representatives score card and preparation

    of the monthly pay roll

  • Provide support to sales campaigns by providing

    regular performance updates to the network.

  • Develop a comprehensive sales & balance

    sheet MIS for Consumer Banking.

  • In charge of weekly calculation of revenue

    contribution against costs for the Consumer Banking sales teams

  • Regularly respond to all MIS related queries

    for Branches, Pinnacle banking and SME banking.

  • Develop a cumulative sales ranking system for

    Consumer Banking sales people.

  • Offer support to the Consumer Banking segment

    Heads on MIS related queries.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s

    degree in Statistics / computer or related field with a thorough

    understanding of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SQL and Data Base Management

  • Strong analysis, numerical, computation,

    interpretation skills especially in target setting, budget framework

    development and performance tracking.

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of the

    Consumer Banking business.

  • Good knowledge of the Bank’s products,

    systems, Consumer Banking goals/objectives.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral

    communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service, Innovative and

    self-driven.

  • Excellent analytical, co-ordination,

    organisational & IT skills.

  • Proven ability to exercise the highest level

    of responsibility and confidentiality.
