Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Ensure the Bank gets Value for Money from
  
  Supply Markets.


• In charge of aggregating procurement requirements
  
  across the organization to exploit total spending power and maintaining
  
  robust knowledge of supply markets to enhance successful negotiation of
  
  optimal sourcing arrangements


• Consistently improve customer /supplier
  
  relationships


• Ensuring that goods and services are
  
  purchased in line with the predefined arrangements by ordering only from
  
  approved suppliers or pre-agreed prices.


• Follow up and receipt of submissions of
  
  procurement plan from Departments and branches


• Receipt of Complaints/Compliments from
  
  branches


• The jobholder will receipt and coordination
  
  of transport and accommodation arrangements.


• In charge of issuing bidding documents, RFQ’s
  
  and RFP’s


• Actively participating in the evaluation
  
  committees for procurements below 5m to 1m


• Responsible for writing and issuing any
  
  orders based on decisions taken by procurement committee and all approvals
  
  outside procurement committee


• Follow up on action points from procurement
  
  committees


• In charge of writing weekly/monthly reports
  
  on contracts entered into and status on action points


• Implementing Post Contract Action Points


• The jobholder will be a member of the
  
  Negotiation team for Procurements made


• Follow up and receipt of submissions of
  
  procurement plan


• Perform any other business assigned to you by
  
  the Procurement Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The ideal candidate for the Supervisor,
  
  Procurement vacancy should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a Business related
  
  Degree


• CIPS qualification (Part or Full) or Masters
  
  in Procurement is added advantage


• A minimum of two years of related work
  
  experience in a busy procurement environment
