Apply CCL () has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Logistics Operations Supervisor to be based in Uganda. Minimum 15 years of working experience in logistics operations as supervisor / superintendent. Computer literate. Self motivated. Teambuilding awareness, leadership, multicultural awareness, environmental awareness, organisation and anticipation skills. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. Must be eligible to reside and work in Uganda. Responsibilities: Ensure the correct amount of trucks, lifting equipment are chartered / hired to meet long and short term plans. Validate land transportation planning. Assure the coordinator with Drilling / Geosciences / Project entities. Ensure that each day, the right number of flights and trucks are available for operations. Prepare, coordinate and control land operations (including rig moves). Liaise with trucking contractor to ensure safe and efficient loading / unloading of deck cargo. Direct Experience or equivalent
