Protecting

Families against HIV/AIDS (PREFA) is an indigenous Non-Governmental

Organization (NGO) that was formed to contribute to Uganda’s efforts in

enhancing access to quality HIV/AIDS prevention, care, treatment, and support

services to families with a historical focus on Elimination of Mother-to-Child

Transmission (eMTCT) of HIV.


Job Summary: The Community

Officers will support the Project Coordinator in carrying out Project

Implementation particularly creating the desired awareness in the community on sexual

reproductive health (SRH) services through organizing health facility and community

education events, mobilizing, monitoring and assessing community program

activities.


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The applicants for the Community Officers vacancies

should hold Bachelor’s Degrees in Social Science, Social Works and Social

Administration or Development Studies.


·        
Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in the use of Microsoft

Office applications.


·        
Broad knowledge and understanding of Community and

Health System structures


·        
Past experience working with communities
