Ltd. is a large manufacturing company in Uganda with a network across East,

Central and Southern Africa requires suitable individuals to apply for the

following positions  due to its rapid

growth, and the need to co-ordinate and manage its ’s integrated Sales, Quality

and Logistics line efforts.


Job Summary:  The Marketing Manager will develop, manage and

oversee all marketing functions and promotions for Uganda Baati Ltd.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
Develop and implement the company’s Marketing

Strategy, plans and conduct marketing analysis.


·        
Develop plans for advertising and marketing of the

company’s products to raise the Company’s market profile and increase sales.


·        
The incumbent will ensure the timely organization of

promotional activities, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently, and

within agreed budgets, to raise the profile of the company’s and increase

sales.


·        
Coordinate and manage all Company’s marketing plans

and activities with other marketing managers and staff in the Company to ensure

that the plans are delivered effectively.


·        
Develop, manage and control the Company’s marketing

budget for marketing activities.


·        
Respond to internal and external requests for the

development and provision of promotional activities.


·        
Develop, co-ordinate and maintain stock of

promotional material for issue to Company’s staff and customers.


·        
Arrange visits and hospitality for customers and

others to promote the image of the Company and its products.


·        
Significantly contribute to the Company’s newsletter

and all other internal communications.


·        
Actively contribute to the Company’s website.


·        
Manage and maintain all the company’s branding and

associated activities.


·        
Develop, manage and maintain a Company’s Sales

Achievers Scheme.


·        
Enhance Value Creation through Company synergy.


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The applicant should preferably hold an MBA level

qualification with specialization in marketing.


·        
A minimum of eight years’ marketing experience in

FMCG, building and construction industry like Steel & Roofings, cement,

paints, electrical fittings.


·        
Excellent planning, co-ordination and organizational

skills.


·        
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


·        
Pleasing personality
