Uganda with international links to all major postal administrations worldwide.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        
The incumbent will drive assigned vehicle/s (buses) safely

and with utmost due care

·        
Ensure that the vehicle is clean and in a good

mechanical condition

·        
Routinely check fuel, engine coolant and oil levels

each day and fill out the log books

·        
Ensure that vehicle defects are reported immediately

·        
Ensure that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance

is completed and reported

·        
Conduct minor repairs on the motor vehicle whenever

necessary

·        
Take responsibility for responsible collection and

accountability of bus revenues to meet set targets

·        
Ensure safe and secure delivery of mail carried on

the vehicle

Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 

·        
The Post Bus Drivers should have completed an Ordinary

Level Certificate (UCE)

·        
Possession of a Certificate in Mechanical

Engineering, Defensive Driving and Accounts is an added advantage

·        
Possess a valid driving license- classes DH, DM, DL

and CH. The applicant must be prepared to undergo Traffic Police Driving Test

·        
At least five years of relevant experience

·        
Ability to write and speak English

·        
Ability to check minor defects on the vehicle

·        
Possess demonstrable customer care skills
