Legal Officer. – Uganda Microcredit Foundation Limited (UMF) - 2015

The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing legal advisory support to Uganda Microcredit Foundation Limited (UMF) and ensure that all our processes are in line with regulatory requirements. The incumbent will also work closely with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors. He /she will also develop and manage systems that ensure the Company complies with all applicable codes, as well as its legal and statutory requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from a reputable university.
· The applicant must have a current Advocate’s Practicing Certificate.
· At least three years’ post qualification experience in a similar position.
· Prior exposure and experience in financial/MFI environment will be an added advantage
