TPO Uganda is a
national Ugandan Non- Governmental Organization that has been operating in
Uganda since 1994. TPO-Uganda services are delivered through a community and

Job Summary: The Program Support Officer will render
support in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of standard program
management activities including data and risk analysis and performance monitoring.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Provide a comprehensive range of executive support
including records and file management, scheduling and coordination of meeting
activities and teleconferences, travel accommodation and conference attendance.
·
Support in the development, improvement and
implementation of systems and procedures to ensure the provision of effective
and efficient service to TPO Uganda and stakeholders.
·
Actively monitor the flow of correspondence for TPO
Uganda using the departmental systems and processes.
·
Arrange travel, accommodation and conference
attendance for Officers of relevant work unit as needed.
·
Operate computer and information systems, utilizing
a range of departmental software packages for the purposes of processing claims
for payment, variations to contracts, document tracking, data tracking and
retrieval of information.
·
Work closely with departmental heads to ensure
timely responses to correspondence requests from senior management.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·
The applicant should hold a degree in Public Administration
or Social Sciences. Possession of a related post graduate qualification is an
added advantage
·
Prior exposure and experience with programming and
management of confidential corporate documents
·
Computer literacy i.e. working knowledge of
Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
·
A typing speed of 60 words per minute
