African
Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental,
non-political, non-religious and non-profit making organization with the main
aim of protecting and seeking durable solutions for Refugees and IDPs in Africa
in partnership with UNHCR the UN refugee agency.
Job Summary: The Mechanical
Engineer will be in charge of analyzing mechanical problems for all project
heavy machinery and offer suitable solutions accordingly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keenly analyse mechanical issues for all
project machines. - Manage the overall maintenance of heavy
machinery for the project. - Perform any other duties assigned by the
Operations Manager
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants must hold degrees in
Mechanical Engineering - A minimum of three years of related work experience
- Broad knowledge, understanding and experience
of mechanics.
