Zombo District

Local Government has received funding from the GIZ’s Energy programme is

promoting Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Technologies.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
The Assistant Forestry Officer will be in charge of

sensitizing the public on the importance of sustainable exploitation of

forestry resources as well as the use of efficient biomass energy technologies.


·        
The incumbent will also support the District Energy

Focal Person in biomass energy related matters.


·        
Take part in the identification, planning and

implementation of biomass RE & EE projects.


·        
Support GIZ-PREEEP activities related to modern

biomass energy technologies.        


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The applicant should preferably hold a Diploma in

Forestry from a recognized institution.


·        
Prior exposure and experiences in Renewable Energy

& Energy Efficiency (RE&EE), especially in the field of modern biomass

energy technologies.


·        
At least a year of related professional work

experience.


·        
Possess a valid driving permit with classes A &

B.


·        
Age: Between 20-35

yrs


All suitably

qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to pick application forms

Vitae (CV) and academic credentials.
