University of Science & Technology (MUST), commonly known as Mbarara

University, is a public university in Uganda. Mbarara University commenced student

intake and instruction in 1989. It is one of the eight public universities and

degree-awarding institutions in the country. MUST is accredited by the Uganda

National Council for Higher Education.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        
The incumbent will prepare menu for the students

Handle students’ problems related to feeding

·        
Guide and consult the Warden on all matters

concerning the section

·        
Prepare delivery schedules for supply of food

stuffs, firewood & cleaning materials

·        
The incumbent will prepare the procurement plans for

the section ad forward them to the Warden

·        
Ensure the kitchen/dining areas and surroundings are

well maintained and are hygienic

·        
Mentor and supervise staff and prepare duty rosters

for the kitchen and dining units

·        
Perform any other assigned duty by the Head of

Department

Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 

·        
The Domestic Bursar should hold a Diploma in Hotel

and Institutional Catering

·        
At least three years of relevant working experience preferably

in a tertiary institution.
