Uganda. Our customer base has grown tremendously – so has our coverage – and

our service quality is unsurpassed in the market.


Job Summary: The Account Manager – Home Internet will be tasked

with recruiting and nurturing Home Internet accounts, by providing relevant Airtel

Business value propositions to grow relationships and synergies with a view to

maximize company revenue  and achieve set

targets for both revenue and additional accounts.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Identify opportunities in the Home Internet

    market and develop strategies to realize sales

  • Ensure that all customer inquiries are

    addressed promptly.

  • The incumbent will also grow and retain Airtel

    account revenues and analyze the revenue trends

  • As the customer interface, ensure

    accountability and develop relationships through account and customer

    relationship management.

  • Keenly monitor competitor activity within the

    Home Internet segment and report with recommendations for action.

  • Carry out customer needs analysis and develop

    action recommendations.

  • Initiate and manage loyalty and retention plans

    for Home Internet accounts.

  • Coordinate with other departments in order to

    obtain quality service and product delivery and effectively resolve

    customer queries.

  • Ensure that there are no outstanding payments

    as all payments will be prepaid.

  • Build positive and productive relationships

    with customers.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold a

    Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in business, sales, IT or equivalent training in

    business or sales management

  • A minimum of three years’ experience of

    direct sales.

  • Significant experience in the Telecommunications

    Industry especially in fixed data solutions

  • Ability to operate in a performance driven

    organization

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer focused

  • Result Oriented

  • Ability to build and manage relationships
