POSITION: Program Manager (1 post)
Reports to: Executive Director
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, review and supervise technical programmes of THETA for effective delivery of quality HIV/AIDS services and other health interventions.Develop annual and quarterly work plans, budgets and reports for programmes department.Develop and set performance indicators and targets for staff in the programme department.Plan and ensure effective implementation of programme activities.Inspire linkages and synergies with THETA’s partners in programme support and implementation.Actively participant in fundraising, annual planning, budgeting and budget management.Regularly update the Executive Director on the progress of programme activities.Review programme as necessary to adapt to changes in work & external environmentConduct annual performance appraisals for directly supervised staff.Requirement:MBchB, BSc Nursing or any other related health degreeMinimum Experience:5 years experience in program implementation especially in the rural communities and at least 3 years experience at senior management level.Required skills:Comprehensive understanding of strategic roles and other related senior management function, planning and work prioritisation skillsExcellent Funding Proposals writing skills, Critical analytical skills, as well as report writingWorkstation: Kampala with frequent travels up-countryTerms of Service: Contract How to apply:Interested candidates should send their CM, a cover letter with copies of academic certificates, indicating 3 professional referees and their contacts by Friday 2711 July 2012, 5:00PM, to: Executive Director, THETA Uganda, Plot 724/5 Mawanda Road – Kamwokya, P.O Box 21175, Kampala, Email: applicalions@thetaug.org Note: Please indicate Job title as subject of the email
