Senior Program Officer ( Raising Voices, Uganda)

Raising Voices (www.raisingvoices.org) is seeking a Senior Program Officer for the GBV Prevention Network, a core program of the Violence against Women Department. The Senior Program Officer is responsible for strategically leading the Network in two key objective areas: information-sharing and skills-building. Responsibilities:
Develop strong information-sharing strategy for the Network, including new and creative communication ideas.Research and write the monthly e-bulletin and bi-annual Newsletter.Manage the Network website and FaceBook page.Maintain relationships and active communication with all Network members.Create communication and information materials for the Network.Coordinate and facilitate interactive training workshops for Network members.Support the overall coordination of the GBV Prevention Network.Report and document activities in accordance with Raising Voices standards.Represent the GBV Prevention Network and Raising Voices at selected national and regional events.Work in accordance Raising Voices principles.Requirement:A Bachelor's degree in a related field, Masters a plusAt least 4 years working on VAW or related field, preferably with an NGO.Strong women's human rights perspective, demonstrated commitment to social justiceIntegrity, commitment and passion for workExcellent written and oral communication skills (experience in writing a must)Detail-orientedStrong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Explorer, Outlook, Power Point)Social media, web-based communication, and graphic design skills (Photoshop, InDesign) a plus How to apply:Application Procedure:
