Apply CCL () has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Civil Works Engineer to be based in Uganda. Rotational position. 1 year renewable contract. Ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering. Chartered Engineer status preferred. Fully conversant with MS Office, AutoCAD. Team worker. Self motivated. Personal commitment to HSE. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. Must be eligible to reside and work in Uganda. Minimum 10 years of working experience in civil engineering of building and civil / structural engineering projects including experience of road building, dirt road, concrete design and structural steel design as well as building engineering. Supervise, review, approve and manage the civil engineering design and construction of the drill pad and general maintenance on site. Technical authority for civil and structural engineering. Ensure that civil and building engineering design deliverables are delivered as per the schedule, with acceptable quality for procurement, construction, pre-com / com and operation activities. Must be able to run multiple projects and contractors simultaneously. Bachelors Degree or equivalent, Professional Engineer or equivalent
