The Mukwano

Group of Companies is the leading manufacturer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods

(FMCG) in the Great Lakes region, producing a wide range of market leader

brands in soaps, edible cooking oils and fats, detergents, beverages, personal

care products and plastics.


Key Duties

and Responsibilities:

  • Actively

    coordinate and attend to all HR plant based needs including; recruitment,

    training and development, performance management, attendance, disciplinary

    issues, employee relations and welfare issues, payroll, employee

    counseling and guidance, incidents and audit issues.

  • Guide

    plant based management team on all HR related issues and the labour laws.


Qualifications,

Skills and Experience: 

  • The

    ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource

    Management or Organizational psychology. Additional qualifications in HR

    will be an added advantage.

  • Working

    knowledge of existing labour laws

  • At

    least two years’ experience in a similar role in a large company.

  • Positive

    attitude, self-driven, flexible, results focused, creative, innovative,

    work for long hours and work under pressure with minimum supervision.

  • S/He

    should have effective report writing, communication, good customer care

    skills and counseling and guidance skills.
