WHO and IMAI-IMCI Alliance have developed a training program on Ebola case management, to train clinicians (nurses and district clinicians : doctors, clinical officers, physician assistants) and hygienists who will work in an Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) .
Up to now, surge training has been implemented in Sierra Leone and Liberia. Trainers for this were trained in an initial TOT in Uganda. WHO wants to extend training to Guinea and other French speaking countries with high risk of Ebola epidemic such as Ivory Coast, Mali, and other neighbouring countries.

WHO have asked AMP (Agence de Médecine Préventive) to search and pre-select bilingual French-English trainers to implement this training in these French speaking countries.

The ToT trainer will need to :

  1. Attend to a training session, held in English in Kampala, Uganda, in order to learn how to run the Training of Trainers

  2. Implement the ToT in Mali for French speaking countries with Ebola epidemy or high risk of Ebola epidemy

The ToT trainer might also :

  1. Help WHO/IMAI Alliance (who will provide all training material in French) with French translation of some materials, depending on decision on translation.

  2. Carry out clinical training programme with the same methodology and materials in individual French speaking countries

For more information, please find the Terms of Reference in attachment.

How to apply:

To apply, please send your CV to Frédéric Dalmas, AMP Training manager to the following address : fdalmas@aamp.com

AMP will do a first preselection, then the preselected candidates will be proposed to WHO and IMAI-IMCI Alliance, for the final selection.
