Reports to: Principal Accountant (Revenue & Tax)

Entebbe Handling Services, ENHAS is in

existence since April 1996. Along

the years, our clientele has grown from 5 Airlines to 19 regular scheduled

Airlines, and many more special flights. To develop quality services, ENHAS

have organized to be certified by IATA Airport Handling Manual 804 where we

enter into Service Level Agreements, ISAGO (IATA safety Audit for Ground

Operations) which acts as a model for operational risk and safety management,

DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulations) training centre thus we offer training for

dangerous goods and, very recently by RA3 to screen cargo only from validated

entities as required by EU regulations.

Job Summary: The Treasury Accountant will primarily

manage Debt collection processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        
Ensures

only authorized clients access credit facilities and pay within agreed time;

·        
Updates

and maintains accurate and debtor’s accounts;

·        
Ensures

timely communication to clients on their outstanding dues;

·        
Ensures

that credits are received from debtors;

·        
In

charge of preparing debtor’s age analysis reports at least twice a month and

meets management to discuss the debtor’s position;

·        
Work

closely with supervisors to guide clients of necessary actions and strategies

for debt repayment;

·        
Actively

monitors overdue accounts and notifies supervisor when customers fail to

respond to collection attempts;

·        
Prepares

Debtor’s reconciliation;

·        
Supports

the Principal Accountant in preparing the revenue analysis;

·        
Maintains

proper records of all clients’ communications, addresses, telephones and

emails.

Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 

·        
The

Treasury Accountant should hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent;

Chartered Certified Accountant member of professional accounting body i.e. CPA

or ACCA.

·        
A

minimum of three years’ experience in Accounting/Finance in a reputable

organization.

·        
Strong

organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;

·        
Excellent

analytical skills;

·        
Integrity

and ethics are a must.
