Duty Station: Fort Portal, Uganda


Salary: 339,100 UGX/Month


Angels Haven is a foreign NGO, one of

Korea’s representative social welfare organization, which was established in

1959 and has been operating orphanage, shelter for disabled people, special

education school, rehabilitation hospital, rehabilitation sports center,

welfare center for seniors, shelter for homeless mother and children, and

shelter for people released from prison. Angels Haven has run a project in

Kyenjojo District with the support of Korean government since 2009, and

Kabarole District has been included since 2010. These projects include

educational and empowerment for people in Kyenjojo and Kabarole District.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
In

charge of planning library program and supporting libraries


·        
Technically

supporting community development


·        
Responsible

for monitoring project activities and producing periodic reports


·        
Perform

any other duties as assigned


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The

Assistant Project Officer should hold a degree or diploma in Education,

Development studies and / or Social development


·        
At

least two years NGO experience is preferable


·        
Excellent

interpersonal communication skills


·        
Advanced

Computer skills (MS Excel and MS Word)


·        
Possess

a valid Driver’s License (not necessary, but preferable)


·        
Language: Fluent English & Rutooro
