Giving such courses of lectures and demonstrations, conducting tutorials and practical classes as may be determined by the Head of Department, promotion of knowledge of your subject and your own original work and acceptance of duties of examiner

Employment Terms:

A successful candidate will be employed on a four (04) year contract renewable upon satisfactory performance.

MAIN PURPOSE: To prevent disease and promote health through surveillance and
Management of Environmental Health practices and in management of the unit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a Diploma in Environmental Health Science or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
• Must have served for three (3) years as a Health Worker.

DUTIES:
• Inspecting homesteads for hygiene and environmental sanitation,
• Inspecting refuse collection and disposal.
• Enforcing Public Act Regulations and by-laws and Health Preventive measures
•Participating in planning, directing, budgeting, coordinating, monitoring and evaluations for environmental Health programmes.
• Managing and accounting for allocated resources
•Carrying out human resource manpower activities like identifying manpower, promotional, leave and deployment.
• Participating in research activities.
• Imparting knowledge and skills to students and staff.
