Manager, Assurance Public Sector


Manage a portfolio of audit clients. This will involve planning for assignments, adhering to assignment delivery requirements, managing the assignments profitability and maintaining effective client communication


Participate in business development initiatives that will involve identifying appropriate opportunities for the firm and preparing proposals that are consistent with the firm standards


The candidate will also manage a team of employees on each assignment and will be expected to motivate, inspire and review team performance


Undertake practice management roles within the firm and participate in counselling and mentoring of less experienced staff

The selected candidate will work with multi-disciplinaryassignment teams.

Strong technical knowledge of Auditing and Accounting and excellent understanding of
public sector work.

Excellent analytical skills and commercial expertise.

Demonstrate ability to communicate with impact.


Demonstrate ability to lead and influence teams and work with members of senior management.

Excellent business development and negotiation skills.

Good understanding of audit legislation and develop insightful solutions to complex
client issues.

Good leadership skills, be an effective team player, excellent management skills and
good project management skills.

At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
