Job Title : Public  Health  Specialist
U .S. Mission  Uganda  is inviting  suitable qualified applicants  for the  vacant  post  above.

Qualifications
NOTE:  All  applicants  must address  each  selection criterion  detailed below  with specific  and  comprehensive information supporting  each item.
•    Education Required:  Completion  of a master  of  public health  (MPH), master of science  public health  (MSHP), master of social work  (msw)   in  child  development , nursing  ,  international  development , community development , public health , health policy , behavioral or social science  is required.
•    Work Experience  required:  Five years of  progressively responsible  professional  experience  in human  resources for   health policy  development  and review, health program  design  and management  in an  HIV/AIDS  setting is required.
•    Language required: Level  1V  English ability  (fluent   written, spoken  and reading)
Selection  Criteria
•    Management  will  consider  nepotism/conflict of interest , budget and  visa status  in  determining  successful candidacy.
•    Current  employees serving  a  probationary period  are not eligible to apply.
•    Currently employed US  Citizen  EFMs  who hold  a Family Member Appointment  (FMA)  are ineligible  to apply for advertised positions within the  first 90 calender days  of  their  appointment .
