Organizational Profile:
Buganda land Board is an agency of the Kabaka of Buganda which was entrusted with managing land belonging to Buganda Kingdom.
Buganda Land Board is seeking to recruit experienced, qualified, self-d riven and competent individuals who will match with its vision of being a centre of excellence in Entrepreneurial land management and development in Uganda and beyond.
The Land Valuation Officer will be responsible for the following roles;
· Estimate the market value of the Kingdom land, with a view to maximizing proceeds from its lease.
· Involve researching and writing detailed reports for the Land managed by Buganda Land Board.
· Participate in the organization of the files to be presented to the lease committee.
· Carrying out work for Organization compensation assessments and appraisals as well as giving advice.
Qualifications & Experience
· The person should have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Land Valuation and Land Economics from a recognized university.
· Be an effective communicator with good interpersonal skills and ability to meet critical deadlines.
· Proactive, a good knowledge of working with communities.
· Confidentiality is paramount.
