yet simultaneously strengthening quality and control of resources.

Job Summary:  The incumbent will be in charge of managing

all aspects of the company’s main

warehouse and improve the performance of the business, supporting business

growth through development of the warehouse and the logistics strategies and

managing the corporate governance of the business. The incumbent will oversee

the warehouse process and procedures and provide all the analysis, information

and the reports to support UG Management. He /she will also determine and

maintains records of all transactions, GRN and any other logistics activities

within the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Planning, Organizing and

Control:

• In
  
  charge of the planning, organizing and controlling of warehouse’s overall
  
  operations


• Constantly
  
  plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company
  
  objectives and set targets.


• Implement
  
  cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehousing transactions and
  
  activities


• Make
  
  sure of compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental
  
  management policies, procedures and controls across the factories and SRMC
  
  premises to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of
  
  high quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.

2. Warehousing and Material

Handling:

• Oversee
  
  the day to day warehousing and logistics activities involving devices and
  
  materials receipt, storage, deliveries and transfers to regional central
  
  warehouses.


• Support
  
  the Purchasing & Head of Finance in setting up layout and space
  
  management; work organization chart; procedures and policies in warehouse
  
  operations and materials handling.


• Ensure
  
  that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take
  
  responsibility for the security of the building and stock


• Carry
  
  out improvements and development of warehouse facilities and maintain
  
  housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area.


• Maintain
  
  and follow up actual activities of materials ordering, stocking, issuance,
  
  receiving, deliveries and transfers in the X3 system to ensure accurate
  
  records of materials movement.


• Carry
  
  out annual physical inventory in collaboration with Accounts and issue
  
  inventory report.


• Regularly
  
  review and submits delivery status report, slow moving items report, goods
  
  age report and goods return report to finance department to maintain
  
  accurate records and for further management action.


• Ensure
  
  the effective achievement of warehousing functional objectives through the
  
  leadership of the Purchasing and Warehousing function – setting individual
  
  objectives, managing performance in order to ensure that the highest level
  
  of performance is achieved.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The
  
  ideal candidates should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant
  
  field


• Professional
  
  qualification (CIPS)


• At
  
  least three to five years’ experience in Logistics and warehousing


• Working
  
  knowledge of warehouse management and logistics principles


• Comprehensive
  
  knowledge in administrative policies governing various practices


• Computer
  
  literacy skills with familiarity to the warehousing systems


• A
  
  good team player


• Accurate
  
  with good attention to detail


• Focused
  
  with initiative
