2 Quality Assurance Officer Job Placements - PACE

Program

for Accessible health, Communication and Education (PACE) is a Ugandan

indigenous health organization leading solutions in the health market through

the private sector. We deploy social marketing approaches to measurably improve

the health of Ugandans.


Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Officer will be tasked with

the dissemination, maintenance and monitoring of the quality of Quality Improvement

Plan (QIP) & Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) standards within the franchise,

partners, and health facilities in all health areas 


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • The incumbent will plan for the

    implementation and execution of all program quality related activities in

    cluster one and two.

  • Train, coach and mentor service providers and

    implementing partners to ensure quality and client safety during service

    provision across all programs

  • Regularly check continuously and monitor

    adherence to approved standard operational procedures and protocols by

    Implementing partners and service providers across all programs

  • Develop and improve provider and implementing

    partners’ productivity across all programs.

  • Increase demand through medical detailing of

    PACE products to Implementing partners and track usage of these products

    and equipment in cluster one and two for all programs

  • The incumbent will also manage the supply

    chain including ordering, distribution and tracking of Commodities,

    promotional products and IEC materials to sites and implementing partners

    in the clusters for all programs


Key Performance Indicators:

  • Work plans implemented, monitored on schedule

  • Skilled and competent service providers and

    implementing partners in quality and client safety during service

    provision across all programs

  • Increased demand of PACE products

  • Compliance to standard operating procedures

    and protocols

  • No stock outs of products in the region and

    low stock turnover


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate must be a qualified Clinical

    Officer, Registered midwife or registered nurse either with a diploma or

    degree

  • Hold Valid registration with a professional

    regulatory body

  • Possession of a valid driving license is an

    added advantage

  • A minimum of three years’ experience with

    demonstrated ability to work with various partners including MoH, Local

    governments, CBOs and other NGOs; Previous experience in clinical services.

  • Proven ability to work well on a team as well

    as individually.

  • Excellent communication, written and

    presentation skills.

  • Good report writing skills (timely and

    accurate)

  • Work-plan development and budgetary skills.

  • Capacity building skills for partners.

  • Medical detailing skills.
