Job Summary: The Country Manager will be in charge of the identification

of new business opportunities for the company’s products, manage a portfolio of

major accounts and offer a wide range of BOC products.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide oversight and guidance to ensure

    alignment with company growth strategies and financial results. Contribute

    to the development and implementation of strategic plans for the region.

  • Manage sales and improve business

    performance. Secure long term supply agreements with major customers.

  • Manage product life cycle and replacement

    process including stock level planning in conjunction with the relevant

    business areas.

  • Conduct market surveys and sales trend

    reviews to identify customer needs relative to existing products and new

    product requirements.

  • Identify potential business risks.

  • Identify and develop new business

    opportunities and creative solutions in application of company products in

    the industry

  • Stay abreast with current market trends,

    monitor customer activities and gather market information, grow customer

    base, customer accounts, manage debt collection and sales budget.

  • Ensure that the value of BOC is correctly

    presented to customers through effective use and co-ordination of

    specialist resources from within the company.

  • Implement best commercial practices.

  • Manage SHEQ including accidents/incident

    prevention, investigation and resolution, customer site safety.

    Participate in all company SHEQ programs.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate will should hold a business

    or technical degree as a minimum and extensive experience in sales and

    marketing.

  • Proven ability to operate in a regional

    environment

  • Excellent track record of successful business

    accomplishments.

  • The applicant must also be customer-focused

    and results-driven, with high performance and team orientation.

  • High business acumen, visible leadership,

    decision making, cross cultural communication and strong growth drive

    complete the profile for this position.

  • Excellent communication skills
