exceeding USD 500 million, engaged in diverse operations. Kakira Sugar is owned
by the Madhavani Group and it is extracted from cane grown on lush plantations
on the shores of Lake Victoria. The sweet, sparkling crystals with their
distinctive taste and flavour, and rich golden colour, have sweetened dishes
all over Uganda since the 1930s.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
The Driver
– Forklift Supplies will be tasked with the maintenance of the forklift on a
daily basis by checking oil, fuel, water etc.
·
In
charge of moving materials from one location to another within the stores area
in the presence of respective storekeepers.
·
Unloading
and loading materials from trucks and containers in the presence of the
receiving Store keeper.
·
Reporting
any forklift malfunctioning and breakdowns to the immediate supervisor.
·
Performing
any other related duties as maybe assigned by the Stores Superintendent/ Management
from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·
All
applicants should preferably hold Primary Leaving Education (PLE) Certificate
·
Hold
a clean and valid driver’s license with classes B and G.
·
The
Drivers should have a minimum of at least three (3) years practical driving
experience.
·
Age: 25 years and above.
