hydroelectric Power Stations. Our mission is to be the Centre of Excellence in

Power Concession Management.


Job

Summary:
The Front Desk Assistant/Receptionist will manage the reception area of

the Eskom Office at Kampala Office as well as provide administrative support to

the Executive Assistant/PA.


Key

Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
Cordially receive and attend to all visitors/

guests


·        
The job holder will be managing all incoming and

outgoing office correspondence.


·        
Provide administrative support


·        
In charge of effective records management


·        
Support provision to the CORA Team.


·        
Implement and maintain a complete administrative

and filing system.


·        
Responsible for receiving and dissemination of

documents to relevant owners


·        
Maintain Boardroom for easy coordination of work

flow and meetings.


·        
File and retrieve organizational documents,

records and reports.


·        
Adequately facilitate meetings by organizing

catering and other logistics.


·        
Answering visitors’ enquiries about the company

and its products or services.


·        
Ensure outgoing mail/correspondences are properly

delivered to the recipients.


·        
Manage the housekeeping and other cleaning

requirements of Kampala Office.


·        
Work closely with the executive assistant and

other officers’ requisition for office supplies.


·        
Process the Kampala office bills including water,

electricity, food & rent with the responsible Manager.


·        
Identify and bring to management attention any

perceived risks pertaining to the management of the office.


·        
Co-ordinate office requirements as need arises by

bringing those requirements to the attention of relevant owners and follow up

until resolved.


·        
Offer timely support to the corporate affairs

office during events and other key process activities.


·        
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Corporate

Affairs Manager.


Qualifications,

Skills and Experience: 


·        
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Degree

in business administration, commerce or Social Sciences.


·        
A minimum of two years of related experience in

office administration and handling multiple tasks


·        
Excellent written and verbal communication skills


·        
Excellent interpersonal skills.


·        
Maintain a calm, courteous and professional

demeanour at all times,


·        
Proven ability to work within deadlines


·        
Excellent organizational, problem solving and

planning skills.


·        
Keen attention to details
