Q-Sourcing
Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African
Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Growth and Shareholders’ Return:
·
Increase enrolment through modern and better care
and teaching methods, cross selling and venturing into new markets
·
Reduce expenses to increase shareholders return
·
Will act as key contact person for all new and
existing parents
·
Provide new and existing parents with all information
pertaining to the school
·
Ensure the teachers and learners have a conducive
working and learning environment
·
Receive and mitigate any complaints from parents,
learners and teachers
·
Ensure positive communication to all direct and
indirect stakeholders
·
Ensure termly plans are fully prepared at least 10
days before beginning of term
·
Ensure that the class room environment is
conducive and engages learning
·
Supervise each class room daily to ensure the lesson
plans are being followed
·
Ensure that classrooms are clean
·
Discuss any adjustments to the lesson plans with
the teachers
·
Organize and plan for parent’s progress check
·
Keenly check the learners work and assess their
progress
·
Prepare and submit monthly reports on all
classroom activity
·
Work closely with the director to develop the
termly budgets
·
Ensure that the budget is followed to the letter
·
Discuss any matters arising outside the budget
with the director
·
Prepare and submit monthly financial reports i.e.
income and expenditure, budget variance, balance sheet, cash flow statement,
debtors and creditors report and any other necessary reports
5. Marketing and Publicity:
·
Organize and engage in marketing activities to
promote the school
·
Ensure that the learners’ numbers grow
·
Ensure that all the school’s assets are well maintained
·
Ensure that all necessary repairs are done in the
appropriate time frame
7. Supervision of Teachers:
·
Ensure that all teachers arrive and depart at the
right time
·
Organize weekly meetings with the teachers to
discuss any important matters arising
·
Perform weekly performance assessments of each
teacher
·
Organize team building activities
·
Assess the training needs of the teachers and
organize training sessions
·
Develop process manuals for all school activities
and roles
·
Actively participate in the recruitment of staff
·
Carry out orientation for new and existing staff
·
Ensure that all the process manuals are being
followed
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
·
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a University
degree/Diploma in Education
·
A minimum of five years’ experience as a head or
deputy head in a nursery school
·
Ability to relate well with children
·
The applicant should be a good teacher first and
who will often times be in class
·
Computer literacy skills
·
Excellent command of the English language both
written and verbal
