Key

Duties and Responsibilities:  


1. Client & Account Management (30%)


·        
Apply expert level of knowledge and understanding

of your clients and their business in all interactions with clients.

Deliverables and analysis conducted applies this knowledge and commercial

implications and realities.


2. People Management (30%)


·        
Maximise individual and team performance and efficiency

through effective people management;


·        
Steers the performance management process, as and

when required


3. Insights Generation (20%): The incumbent

designs appropriate research solutions to drive meaningful insight for clients’

needs and their business


4. Business Development and Financial

Management (20%:
Developing the research business amongst existing clients

and identification and development of new business opportunities outside the

existing client base


Qualifications,

Skills and Experience:  


·        
The ideal candidate for the Ipsos Research

Manager, Ipsos Public Affairs should hold preferably a Master’s degree in a Public

Affairs related field is an advantage


·        
A minimum of five years’ experience in social

research at executive level


·        
Broad knowledge and understanding of social issues

and current affairs


·        
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate

insights to all levels of the business in a practical, user friendly and meaningful

way


·        
Proven ability to turn data into actionable

intelligence / insights


·        
Strong research relationships and networks


·        
Exceptional client relationship management skills


·        
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment


·        
Ability to work and deliver under tight deadlines


·        
Strong interpersonal, people and team management

skills


·        
Self-driven, results oriented, shows exceptional

initiative and is focused on quality and profit


·        
Exceptional analytical and reporting writing

skills


·        
Strong skills in research design and methodologies
