operation in Kenya for over 25 years with subsidiaries in Rwanda and Uganda.

GTBank has been in operation for over 23 years and today operates over 200

branches in Nigeria, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cote d’lvoire and the

United Kingdom.


Job

Summary:
The Tellers will be mainly responsible for providing fast and accurate

service to Guaranty Trust Bank customers while at the same time being able to offer

support by responding to queries and managing customer complaints.


Key

Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
The Teller will receive cash and cheques in line

with banks policies and procedures


·        
Pay out cash in line with banks policies and

procedures.


·        
Manage till cash to ensure security


·        
Manage over the counter foreign exchange transactions


·        
The Teller will also process funds transfer

through GTMT, MoneyGram and Western union.


·        
Ensure that cash holdings are in line with

intra-day and end of day requirements.


·        
Manage Bankers’ cheques and in-house transfers

where there are sufficient funds in the account.


·        
List outward cheques deposited and forward to Head

office -Central processing.


·        
Process E-Tax and utility bills payments.


·        
Quickly and cordially respond to customer queries

and complaints


·        
Cross selling of products and services.


·        
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Transaction

Service Supervisor (Teller Captain).


Qualifications,

Skills and Experience:

Jobs should preferably hold relevant bachelor’s degrees

Customer relations skills and knowledge

The Teller must have keen attention to details and

accuracy

·        
Sound knowledge of bank products and services

Good documentations and filing management skills
