Skills for
Life Uganda is a regional management consultancy firm currently operating in
Uganda and South Sudan. The organization is specialized in resource
mobilization (fundraising) for NGOs, organizational development, Research (Base
line surveys, KAP surveys), monitoring and evaluation, peace building and
capacity building. Skills for Life Uganda provides services to humanitarian
organizations, governments, non-governmental organizations and corporates that
enables public and private sectors to focus on their core business and the
achievement of their objectives in hostile and threatening environments as we
provide a safe and secure environment for them to do so and alleviate them of
their risks, crisis and personnel management problems.
Job
Summary: The Technical Consultants will form
a database of consultants who will always be called upon when consultancy
assignments have been secured.
Classifications
of Consultants:
1. Technical Specialist: Minimum of a
PhD in the relevant field
2. Technical Expert: Minimum of a
Masters in the relevant field
3. Technical Support: Minimum of a
Bachelors’ in the relevant field

participatory community approaches like CLTS, PHAST and CHAST

Commitment, flexibility and willingness to work in
a team environment.

Willingness to work in all or any of the following
countries Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, DRC, Kenya and Somalia
·
Client orientated.
·
Competent writing and oral communication skills.
·
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
·
Computer literate with experience of using
databases and spreadsheets.
·
Effective problem solving skills.
·
Language
Requirements: Must be fluent in written and oral English.
Consultants with good understanding of written and oral French are encouraged

Information: The consultants will always be provided with transport, VISA,
accommodation and DSA while in the field and other countries.
