In 1996,

Action Africa Help International (AAIN) became Aktion Africa Hilfe e. V (AAH)

and was registered in Munich, Germany from where our founders in 2003 moved the

organisation’s headquarters to Kenya. AAH-I now works with refugees, host

communities and other marginalized and vulnerable groups in Kenya, Uganda,

Somalia and South Sudan, where it operates across a range of sectors that seek

to bridge relief to development.


Action Africa

Help Uganda (AAH Uganda) has been receiving funding from the United Nations

High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to implement programmes in the Districts

of Hoima (Kyangwali Refugee Settlement), Adjumani District and Kampala.


Qualifications,

Skills and Experience: 


·        
The applicant for the UNHCR AAH Vocational

Training Coordinator job placement should hold a Degree in Vocational studies

in Business studies with Education, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with Education,

Technical Teacher Education, Automotive Engineering with Education or related


·        
A minimum of three years’ experience in a related

field


·        
Working knowledge of vehicle, water pump, and

Generator service.


·        
Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in the use of

Office applications i.e. Word, Excel and Power point)


·        
Good managerial skills, being able to develop new

ideas that are beneficial to the training


·        
Good presentation skills


·        
Gender sensitive


·        
Excellent oral and written communication skills


·        
Ability to work under minimal supervision.


·        
Excellent interpersonal skills


·        
Good leadership skills and problem solving
