Senior Research Fellow
Requirements:
Excellent academic background with a Ph.D. in Economics (bycoursework and research) with strong bias in trade and economic integration issues from a reputable UniversityKnowledge of external trade issues including trading blocs, bilateral, WTO and EPAKnowledge of international and domestic trade will be an added
advantageProven high level writing skills as primary authorship in publishing
research papers, review etc. Evidence of publication of own written articles in either local or
international journals Self motivation and capability to work under tight deadlines in a
competitive environment High-level interpersonal skills and good communications skills Excellent writing and presentation skills A minimum of five (5) years of postdoctoral research work experience in relevant public or private sector institutions Professional experience of working with reputable research institutions in policy-oriented work Unquestionable integrity
The position is for three year contract, with a possibility for renewal subject to satisfactory performance. Attractive and internationally competitive remuneration package including healthcare coverage is offered.
