The Government of The Republic of Uganda
has received funds from Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA),
Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), OPEC Fund for International Development
(OFID) and the Government of Uganda for rehabilitation and expansion of Kayunga
and Yumbe Hospitals. The project objective is to deliver the Uganda National
Minimum Health Care Package (UNMHCP), through improvement of Health
Infrastructure.
Job Summary: The Project
Administrator will support the Project Coordinator in the management of all
operations and administrative functions of the Project.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The
incumbent coordinates administrative functions of the Project. - Directs
and organizes technical and administrative meetings for project staff and
between the project and stakeholders - Records
minutes of all meetings, distribute them and follow up on the
implementation of decisions thereof. - The
incumbent oversees the internal and external public relations and promote
a positive project image - The
Administrator will take part in Project planning, monitoring and
evaluation - Ensures
that the Project assets are well documented, maintained and properly used - Oversees
communication systems within the Project - Make
the necessary inland and foreign travel arrangements for the Project
staff. - Supervise
cleaning and furnishing of the Project offices and ensure availability of
office stationary and other utilities. - Mentor
and supervise support staff of the Project (Secretary, Administrative
Assistant and Drivers - Perform
any other duties assigned by the supervisors.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicants for the Project Administrator placement should hold a Bachelor
of Arts with an option of Social Work and Social Administration or Social Sciences or Public Administration from
a recognized University - Possession
of a postgraduate course in Management will be an added advantage.
