Job
Summary: The Electrical Technician will take the overall responsibility of
supervising Trainees and Night Contractors in all Java Uganda Branches and
Facilities in the areas of service, maintenance and repair of machines,
equipment and fixtures in respect of the area of expertise.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Service, repair and maintain machines, equipment
and fixtures within the assigned units as need arises
·
In charge of purchasing of spare parts required
through authorization of maintenance supervisor.
·
Ensure availability when required at any branch
·
Quickly report any malfunctioning of equipment
beyond scope to superior.
·
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Operations
Manager.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
·
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Diploma
Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
·
A minimum of three years’ practical experience as
a maintenance technician
·
Previous experience with refrigeration equipment
maintenance an advantage
·
Advanced trouble-shooting and fault-finding skills
·
Good technical communication skills
·
Demonstrated ability to make technical decisions
independently
·
Proven ability to work under pressure
·
Hardworking
·
Adoptable and flexible
·
Ability to prioritise efficiently
